 There is no substitute for the look and sound of real instruments: a black-and-white keyboard set against the golden brass highlights of cymbals and horns—real instruments played by dedicated musicians.

The official band for Yale’s celebration of Cole Porter, we recently performed for the Bulldog Bash welcoming students to campus this fall. After a set of jazz and a tribute to Aretha Franklin, we played salsa music with Juan de Marcos (Buena Vista Social Club) and rapper Baba Israel with Grace Galu and DJ Rimarkable. In the past four months, we have also played ballroom dance music for the New Jersey
